Testimonial:

Andrew LeCompte is as gifted a teacher as the clarity with which he presents the material in his book would suggest. In the first minutes of a class or workshop he builds an atmosphere of trust and cooperation. With easy patience and spontaneity he helps the learner identify the loving intention of his/her communication and find words that invite a positive response, no matter how sensitive or difficult the issue. When I first took Andy's class I became tearful because the communication issue I had chosen to work on was such a painful one for me, but he was able gently to help me keep my focus and arrive at an approach for handling it which proved to be successful in the actual situation.

I have seen Andy teach in small classes and in larger workshops at regional Conventions. He is unfailingly poised, witty, compassionate and inspiring. As Director of Program Research for a time at Open U, a major urban independent learning center in Minneapolis, I had the opportunity to meet and observe a good number of teachers on the national circuit. I can say without hesitation that the quality of Andy LeCompte's skills as a teacher and the value and usefulness of his material is unsurpassed.
